Go!
The natural flow of our strategy to LIVE, GIVE, GO, will only work if we have an action plan. Gathering in a huddle each week and not equipping you to do the work of the Gospel makes the whole thing fall apart. We look inward to understand HOW to Live, HOW to Give, and we look outward with preparation on HOW to Go.
Make Disciples (Invest in People for the Gospel)
The trendiness of the word disciple is evident in the number of books and conferences that are put out each year. But trendiness does not expand or move the kingdom forward. Making disciples does. It takes time and effort. And while we don’t believe in formulas, we do believe that the simplicity of “life-on-life” relationships matter. Yet, we still cannot turn inward completely. Yes, we need to BE disciples before we can MAKE disciples, we are committed to training and preparing you to this task. Find out how.
Move the Gospel (As You Go, on Purpose)
Sharing your faith is as frightening as it is beautiful. But we cannot possibly believe that the Gospel found its final destination in us. The Gospel is fluid, always moving, always changing people. It’s frightening because of formulas and trends that seldom flow from the deep well of faith that is in us. So we offer training, not tips or formulas. Training that turns into habit. Training that gets to the heart of the matter. We learn how to instigate a Gospel conversation. Use simple tools that are interactive and engaging, and leaving results not to you, but to God Himself. Ours is the pleasure of being obedient and involved in the process.
Serve Your Community (Jesus Loves Your Neighbors)
We are a finicky people. We will drive 15-20 minutes to go to church, yet our next door neighbors know nothing of the love we have for Christ. When we serve our community, it involves big projects from time to time. But we also want you to be invested in your street, to know what is going on and how you can meet a need as it arises. This is more simple than you think. There are many outreach programs we have that are intended to move toward people. We ask you take the same approach on your street. See how you can get involved.
Love Your Neighbor (Be Present in Your Neighborhood)
“What is desired in a man is steadfast love.” Proverbs 19:22. We all want it. And as Christ followers we have it. Deep abiding love. So it’s important that we show that love. It happens in many ways, but just being present and offering love is so important. Loving without expectation. It’s hard sometimes. I read once that “we use love like currency.” And it’s true. If we like someone, it’s easy for us to accept them. Sadly, the opposite is true. Let’s be known for what we all desire, LOVE.
